7.

Remove the soft top and window curtain and lay flat on clean surface.

8.

Mark the positions of the old zipper on both top and rear window curtain.

9.

Remove zipper and sew a new zipper into place.

NOTE:

The new zipper must be sewn into the flap behind the rear bow in exactly the same place as the old zipper.
Make sure zipper is on the right side of the window when closed.
Original velcro pad should be in place below edge of zipper on both sides of rear window. If the bonding on the pads is loose, it must be sewn back
into position, Do Not glue these pads in place.

Alternative # 1 - Dealer Sends Vehicle To Upholster For Complete Repair

Alternative # 2 - Dealer Removes Top, Sends Out For Repair and Reinstalls Top

NOTE: 

Be sure to fill in Sublet Invoice Amount prior to submitting warranty claim.

GENERAL INFORMATION
Aftermarket zippers and rear window are not covered under the Mazda 36 month/50,000 mile limited warranty.
This should be communicated to all customers requiring replacement of these pieces. When subletting repairs, genuine Mazda parts should be supplied
with the vehicle or top.
