Oil Cooler: Service and Repair
OIL COOLER
REMOVAL And INSTALLATION
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Drain the engine oil and engine coolant.
3. Remove in the order shown in the figure.
4. Install in the reverse order of removal.
1. Oil filter
2. Water hose
3. Oil cooler
4. 0-ring
Steps After Installation
1. Fill with the specified amount and type of engine oil and engine coolant.
Oil, API service SG, SH (EC 2) ILSAC.
Above-25°C (-13°F), SAC 10W-30
Below 0°C (32°F), SAE 5W-30
Coolant, L (US qt, IMP qt) 6.0 (6.3, 5.3)
2. Start the engine and
(1) Check the engine oil and engine coolant leakage.
(2) Check the oil level and add oil if necessary.

Recheck the engine oil and engine coolant levels.
