Neutral Safety Switch: Testing and Inspection

Inhibitor Switch

OPERATION

1.

Verify that starter only operates with gear selector lever in "P" or "N."

2.

Verify that back-up lights illuminate with gear selector in "R" and ignition switch "ON."

3.

If not as specified, test and/or adjust switch as needed.

CONTINUITY CHECK
