DESCRIPTION
Some vehicles may experience MIL illuminates while engine is running. DTC P0012 is set into PCM memory.
- P0012: CMP Timing Over-Retarded
Customers having this concern should have their vehicle repaired using the following repair procedure.
REPAIR PROCEDURE
1. Verify customer concern.
2. * Refer to MS3 on-line instructions or Workshop Manual for DTC P0012 to diagnose the concern.*
3. Verify repair.
