Remove the overhead console according to the instructions in section M of the BETM.
4.
Remove the two (2) phillips head screws that retain the button to the console.
5.
Use a small screwdriver to carefully pry the button from the side to remove it from the console.
6.
Inspect the underside of the button.

If the button is damaged, replace only the button.

If no damage is present, refer to the BETM or workshop manual for troubleshooting and repair procedures.
7.
Install overhead console according to the BETM.
8.
Verify repair.
