ABS Hydraulic Unit: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Remove igniter and fuel filter to bracket mounting bolts, then move filter and igniter toward engine.
3. Remove air cleaner assembly and electrical connector, then remove brake lines using special wrench tool No. 49 0259 770B, or equivalent.
4. Remove mount bushings nut and bolts.
5. Remove hydraulic unit.
6. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:

a. Torque brake lines to 9.4 - 16 ft.lb.
b. Torque hydraulic unit assembly to 14 - 17 ft.lb.
