Wheel Speed Sensor: Service and Repair
Front Wheel Speed Sensor Rotor

1. Set parking brake and block rear wheels, then raise and support front of vehicle.
2. Remove front wheel and tire, then remove cap from hub.
3. Remove locknut from spindle, then remove the driveshaft, Fig. 171.

4. Tap sensor rotor from driveshaft using a chisel.
5. Press sensor rotor into position.
6. Replace driveshaft, then install locknut. Torque to 174 - 235 ft.lb.
7. Replace cap onto hub, then install wheel and tire.
8. Remove blocks from rear wheels, then release parking brake.
