Install the stiffener and stiffener bolts using the two pass method.
NOTE:
Tighten the bolts by following the sequence shown in Fig. 4
Tightening Torque: 19 - 25 N-m (14 - 19 ft.lbs.)

Install two (2) crankshaft to rear oil seal retainer to stiffener nuts.
Tighten Torque: 8 - 10 N-m (71 - 88 in.lbs.)
26.
Install two (2) black rubber grommets.
27.
Install the following:

New strainer gasket
^
Oil pump strainer
Tightening Torque: 8 - 10 N-m (71 - 88 in.lbs.)
28.
Apply a continuous bead of silicone sealer around oil pan as shown in Fig. 5.
29.
Position oil pan on stiffener.

Install new oil pan bolts.
Tightening Torque: 19 - 25 N-m (14 - 19 ft.lbs.)
30.
Re-attach the flex pipe bracket
Tighten Torque: 34 - 47 N-m (26 - 34 ft.lbs.)
31.
Install three (3) new exhaust pipe to exhaust manifold nuts.
Tighten Torque: 34 - 47 N-m (26 - 34 ft.lbs.)
32.
Connect oxygen sensor
33.
Install RH splash shield
Tightening Torque: 8 - 10 N-m (71 - 88 in.lbs.)
34.
Fill engine with oil to proper level.
35.
Connect battery, reset clock and audio stations.
36.
Verify repair.
