Brake Pad: Service and Repair
Rear
1.
Raise and support rear of vehicle.
2.
Remove tire and wheel assembly, then loosen parking brake.
3.
Remove parking brake cable from bracket and operating lever.
4.
Remove upper mounting bolt, then pivot caliper downward.
5.
Remove springs and pads.
6.
Reverse procedure to install. Using piston holding tool No. 49FA18602 or equivalent, turn piston clockwise until fully bottomed.
