Steering Wheel: Service and Repair

1.

Disconnect battery ground cable.

2.

Remove horn pad, then the steering wheel locknut.

3.

Using a puller, remove steering wheel. Do not subject steering shaft to severe impact in the axial direction when removing or installing the
steering wheel.
 

4.

Reverse procedure to install. Torque steering wheel locknut to 29-36 ft. lbs.
