Seat Belt Retractor: Testing and Inspection
Seat Belt ALR Inspection

1. Pulling the belt out all the way will change the lock mode from ELR to ALR.
2. Verify the retractor makes a clicking sound as the belt slowly retracts. If no sound is heard, the lock mode has not changed to ALR. If necessary,

repeat step 1.

3. Verify the belt locks when pulled.
4. Verify the lock mode changes to ELR when the belt fully retracts.
5. If not as specified, replace the seat belt.
