Speedometer Head: Description and Operation

Speedometer
When the ignition switch is at ON, battery power is applied to the speedometer. When the vehicle is in motion, an AC voltage signal is sent from
the vehicle speedometer sensor to the speedometer. The frequency of this AC voltage signal varies with the vehicle speed.
