MX-6 LS V6-2.5L DOHC (1997)
Engine Mount Member
A. Support the engine by using the Special Service Tool (SST).
B. Remove the engine mount member nuts.
Front Crossmember And Stabilizer
A. Support the crossmember by using a jack and remove the bolts and nuts.
B. Remove the crossmember and steering assembly.
3. Inspect all parts and repair or replace as necessary.
INSTALLATION
1. Install in the reverse order of removal, referring to the following note:
Stabilizer Bushing And Bracket
A. Apply rubber grease to the inside surface of the stabilizer bushing.
B. Align the bushing with the installation mark on the stabilizer bar.
C. Install the stabilizer bracket in the direction shown.
2. Tighten the lower arm and the stabilizer bracket bolts to just under the specified torque. Tighten all other nuts and bolts to the specified torque.
3. Lower the vehicle.
4. With the vehicle unloaded, tighten the lower arm and stabilizer bracket bolts.
5. Adjust the front wheel alignment.
