Front Suspension

Front Shock Absorber and Coil Spring Removal/Installation

REMOVAL  

1. Jack up the front of the vehicle and support it on safety stands.
2. Remove the wheels.
3. Remove in the order shown in the illustration.
4. Inspect all parts and repair or replace as necessary.

INSTALLATION 

1. Tighten all nuts and bolts to the specified torques, referring to the illustration.
2. Install in the reverse order of removal, referring to following notes:

Front Shock Absorber And Spring Note

Face the mounting block direction indicator toward the rear outboard position, and install the shock absorber.
