Rear Suspension

Rear Shock Absorber Removal/Installation

REMOVAL 

1. Jack up the rear of the vehicle and support it on safety stands.
2. Remove the wheels.
3. Remove the trunk side trim.
4. Remove in the order as shown in the illustration.

INSTALLATION 

1. Install in the reverse order of removal, referring to the following note:

ABS Wheel-Speed Sensor Harness

Install the sensor harness bracket in the direction shown.

2. Install the trunk side trim.
3. Install the wheels and tightent lug nuts to 89 - 117 Nm (66 - 86.7 ft. lbs.).
4. After installation measure the rear wheel alignment and adjust it if necessary.
