Clutch Pedal Assembly: Testing and Inspection
HEIGHT INSPECTION
1. Measure the distance from the upper surface of the pedal pad to the carpet. Pedal height should be within 186 - 211 mm (7.32 - 8.31 inch) (with
carpet).
2. If necessary, adjust the pedal height
FREE PLAY INSPECTION
1. Depress the clutch pedal by hand until clutch resistance is felt. Free play should be within 1 - 3 mm (0.04 - 0.12 inch) and total free play should be
5 - 14 mm (0.20 - 0.55 inch).
2. If necessary, adjust the pedal free play.
