Wiper Motor: Testing and Inspection

Inspection

1. Disconnect the windshield wiper motor connector.

Ohmmeter Connection

2. Check for continuity between the motor terminals as indicated.

Battery Connection

3. Connect battery positive voltage to the terminals of the windshield wiper motor connector and ground to a bare metal part of the vehicle. Verify

that the windshield wiper motor operates as indicated.

4. If not as specified, replace the windshield wiper motor.
