Remove the two (2) screws holding the headlight switch to the combination switch body as shown.
Note

Be sure to hold the cover down with your fingers while removing the headlight switch screws. A ball bearing and spring are located under the cover.
These items must be reused.
8.
Remove the following as shown below:

Cord Cover
^
Three (3) Tie-Wraps
^
Vinyl Tape
^
Sponge
9.
Disconnect the headlight switch harness from the blue 14-pin connector by using the following procedure. Refer to the illustration.
A.
Use a small screwdriver (or equivalent), lift the locking bar at the top of the connector.
