Throttle Position Sensor: Testing and Inspection

Throttle Sensor Testing (M/T)

1.

Disconnect sensor connector.

2.

Check continuity between terminals with appropriate feeler gauge inserted between throttle stop screw and stop lever as described on image chart.

3.

If correct specifications cannot be obtained, adjust sensor.  Refer to ADJUSTMENT PROCEDURES.

4.

If adjustment does not result in correct specifications, replace sensor.
