Sunroof / Moonroof Motor: Testing and Inspection

MOTOR

1. Remove the sunroof motor.

2. Apply battery positive voltage to the sunroof motor terminals and check the operation of the motor.
3. If not as specified, replace the sunroof motor.

LIMIT SWITCH

1. Remove the headliner.
2. Disconnect the sunroof motor connection

3. Check for continuity between the sunroof motor terminals by using an ohmmeter with the glass panel in the following positions. Operate the glass

panel by using a flathead screwdriver.

4. If not as specified, replace the sunroof motor.
