Clutch Pedal Assembly: Testing and Inspection
HEIGHT INSPECTION
Measure the distance from the upper surface of the pedal pad to the cabin carpet. Pedal height should be within 212 - 217 mm (8.35 - 8.54 inch)
(with carpet).
FREE PLAY INSPECTION
Depress the clutch pedal by hand until clutch resistance is felt, and measure the pedal free play. Free play should be within 0.7 - 3.4 mm (0.03 -
0.13 inch) and total free play should be within 5.6 - 15.0 mm (0.22 - 0.59 inch).
