WARRANTY EXTENSION
For certain 1999-2000 Protege' vehicles with the 1.6L engine and Non-California Emission Control Warranty, the warranty coverage for the Mass
Airflow Sensor is extended. The extended warranty is available for 7 years from the original warranty start date or 70,000 miles, which ever occurs first.
CONDITION OF CONCERN
There is a possibility that a malfunction of the Mass Airflow Sensor may cause a Check Engine/MIL illumination and/or poor driveability. Symptoms
may include a lack of power, hesitation, or unstable idle.
