Cylinder Head Gasket: Service and Repair

Fuel line spills and leaks are dangerous. Fuel can ignite and cause serious injuries or death and damage. Fuel can also irritate skin and
eyes. To prevent this, always complete the "Fuel Line Safety Procedures".
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Drain the engine coolant.
3. Remove the timing belt.
4. Remove the air cleaner and front pipe.
5. Disconnect the fuel hoses.
6. Remove the exhaust manifold.
7. Remove in the order indicated in the table.
8. Install in the reverse order of removal.
9. Fill the radiator and radiator reservoir with the specified amount and type of engine coolant.
10. Start the engine and
1) Inspect for the engine oil and engine coolant leakage.
2) Inspect the ignition timing and idle speed.
11. Inspect the compression
