Timing Belt Removal

Upper Engine

NOTE:  THIS ENGINE HAS TWO CAMSHAFTS, CHAIN DRIVEN, AND ONE TIMING BELT PULLEY. 

CAUTION: 

-

The crankshaft position sensor rotor is on the rear of the crankshaft pulley, and can be damaged easily.

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the right front wheel.
