Leak Detection Solenoid: Testing and Inspection

CANNISTER DRAIN CUT VALVE (CDCV) INSPECTION

1. Turn the ignition switch to ON and verify that a "click" is heard from the canister drain cut valve beside the fuel-filler lid after approximately 0.2

sec.

2. If no sound is heard, remove the canister drain cut valve. (Refer to EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM, SERVICE AND REPAIR/FUEL

TANK AREA.)

3. Inspect air flow between ports of the solenoid valve.
4. If not as specified, replace the canister drain cut valve.
