Front Wheel Speed Sensor & Rotor

1.

Disconnect battery ground cable, then remove tire and wheel assembly.

2.

Remove brake caliper retaining bolts, then the caliper, Fig. 83.

3.

Remove cap from hub, set cover, hub nut, then the washer.

4.

Remove disc brake rotor, then the outer wheel bearing.

5.

Remove wheel hub, rotor, then the inner wheel bearing, Fig. 84.

6.

Remove oil seal, four dust cover retaining bolts, then the dust cover.

7.

Disconnect tie rod end, then the lower arm ball joint.

8.

Remove attaching bolt, then the speed sensor from knuckle.

9.

Remove the knuckle spindle, then the front wheel hub.

10.

Remove retaining bolts using a hex wrench, then the rotor from the front hub.

11.

Reverse procedure to install. Clearance between rotor and speed sensor pick-up should measure .0157-.0394 inch.
