Malfunction Lamp / Indicator: Description and Operation
The warning lamp indicates a problem or failure of the airbag system. If the airbag system is operating properly, the warning lamp comes On when
turning the ignition switch On or after cranking the engine, then goes out after approximately 6 seconds.
If the warning lamp fails to come on, fails to go off, or flashes there is a problem in the airbag system, it must be checked by the recommended
procedure.
