Idle Speed Vacuum Solenoid Valve: Testing and Inspection
Vent Solenoid Valve

1.

Disconnect hose from valve line.

2.

Disconnect electrical connector from solenoid valve.

3.

Blow through vent solenoid valve hose. Ensure air does not flow through valve.

4.

Apply battery voltage to vent solenoid valve terminals, then blow through vent solenoid valve hose. Ensure air flows through valve.
