Dashpot: Testing and Inspection
Throttle Sensor

Fig. 12 Connect voltmeters to throttle sensor.

1.

Run engine until normal operating temperature is reached, then stop engine.

2.

Disconnect green electrical connector from throttle sensor and connect a voltmeter or test lamp to each connector terminal and ground Fig. 12.

3.

Turn ignition switch to On position and observe voltmeters or test lamps.

NOTE: The testing light as shown in Fig. 14 can be used in place of the voltmeter. In this case, the testing light turns on when current flows.
