Disconnect the vacuum hose from the vent solenoid valve and plug the inlet port of the vent solenoid valve with a finger as shown while the idle
speed is high or hunting.

Faulty Vent Solenoid Valve

If this procedure corrects the problem, the high idle is due to a faulty vent solenoid valve. Replace the vacuum switch valve (N304 13 240), which
includes the vent solenoid valve, in this case.
