Idle Speed Vacuum Solenoid Valve: Testing and Inspection
Vacuum Solenoid Valve

1.

Disconnect hose from valve line.

2.

Disconnect electrical connector from vacuum solenoid valve.

3.

Blow through vacuum solenoid valve hose. Ensure air flows through valve.

4.

Apply battery voltage to vacuum solenoid valve terminals, then blow through vacuum solenoid valve hose. Ensure air does not flow through valve.
