Throttle Position Sensor: Testing and Inspection

1.

Adjust throttle sensor as follows:

a. Warm up engine until it reaches normal operating temperature, then turn engine off.
b. Connect checker lamp 49 F018 001 or equivalent to green check connector Fig. 10.. 
c. Turn ignition switch on and observe lamps.

NOTE: The testing light as shown in Fig. 14 can be used in place of the checker lamp. In this case, the testing light turns on when current flows. A test
light may be used also.
