Throttle Body: Adjustments
Throttle Chamber Adjustment Location
1.
Remove the air funnel from the throttle chamber.
2.
Check the clearance between the primary throttle valve and the wall of the throttle bore when the #1 secondary throttle valve starts to open.
3.
If the clearance is not within specification, bend the tab until the proper clearance is obtained.
STANDARD CLEARANCE
M/T: 0.02 - 0.03in. (0.5 - 0.7mm)
A/T: 0.03 - 0.06in. (0.8 - 1.4mm)
