Metering Oil Pump Rod

a.

Check the operation of metering oil pump rod lever at the throttle body side for smooth movement.

If the lever is binding, the result could be spark plug fouling.

Replace the lever with the modified part, if binding is found.

NOTE:
There is no problem reported regarding the lever of non-turbo model. However, they should be inspected.

Check the clearance of the metering oil pump lever. If necessary, adjust by adding or removing shims.

0 - 0.0039 in. (0 - 1 mm)
