Shift Indicator: Testing and Inspection

Fig. 19 Disconnect neutral switch.

1.

Warm up the engine and turn it off.

2.

Disconnect the neutral switch connector Fig. 19.

3.

Start the engine and increase the engine speed to above 2600 rpm.

4.

Check that the shift indicator light comes on.

5.

Stop the engine.
