Throttle Cable/Linkage: Adjustments
Accelerator Cable Adjustment
1.
Warm engine to operating temperature.
2.
Depress accelerator pedal to floor and check that throttle valve is fully opened.
3.
Check cable play between bracket and attachment to throttle linkage:
0.04 - 0.12 in (1 - 3 mm)
4.
If not as specified, loosen nuts at A and make needed adjustment.
