Intake Air Temperature Sensor: Testing and Inspection

1.  

Disconnect the intake air thermosensor connector and remove sensor from engine.

Intake Air Thermosensor (Engine) Inspection

2.  

Connect an ohmmeter to the sensor terminals.

3.  

Check the resistance of the sensor, using a heat lamp to gradually warm the sensor.

4.  

If not as specified, replace the intake air thermosensor.
