Seat Cushion: Service and Repair
Front Seat Cushion Passenger Seat

FRONT SEAT CUSHION - PASSENGER SEAT

NOTE:  If a side air bag deployment took place, a new seatback pad, trim cover, and side air bag module must be installed. A new seatback frame
should be installed if necessary.

1. Remove the passenger seat.

2. Disconnect the seat cushion trim cover J-clips.
3. The passenger seat cushion is equipped with the occupant classification system (OCS). If replacing the passenger seat cushion, trim cover or

cushion pan.

4. Remove the front seat cushion trim and pad from the front seat cushion frame.

If equipped with heated seats, disconnect the backrest heated grid and the seat cushion heated grid electrical connectors.

5. Separate the front seat cushion trim from the front seat cushion pad.

Assembly Note

NOTE:  If a side air bag deployment took place, a new seatback pad, trim cover, and side air bag module must be installed. A new seatback frame
should be installed if necessary.

1. Install the front seat cushion trim to the front seat cushion pad.
2. Install the front seat cushion trim and pad to the front seat cushion frame.

If equipped with heated seats, connect the backrest heated grid and the seat cushion heated grid electrical connectors.
