Parking Brake Cable: Service and Repair
Rear
PARKING BRAKE CABLE - REAR
Removal and Installation
1. If equipped with rear drum brakes, remove the rear drum brake shoes.
2. Remove the ABS sensor cable bracket bolt.
3. Remove the rear parking brake cable to trailing arm bracket bolts.
4. If equipped with rear drum brakes, disconnect the rear parking brake cable from the backing plates.

Compress the parking brake cable conduit locking tabs.

Pull the parking brake cable assembly through the backing plate.
