Accelerator Cable
ACCELERATOR CABLE
Removal and Installation
WARNING: Make sure surrounding components such as wiring, hoses, sound insulation and floor carpeting are not contacting the sliding
inner cable of the accelerator cable or the accelerator pedal and shaft. Failure to follow these instructions may result in personal injury.
1. Remove the upper show shield screws and upper snow shield.
2. Disconnect the accelerator cable from the throttle lever and bracket.

Disconnect the accelerator cable from the throttle lever.

Disconnect the accelerator cable from the bracket.
3. Remove the accelerator cable bracket nut, and unfasten the accelerator cable pin-type retainer.
4. Remove the accelerator cable grommet from the dash panel.
5. Remove the accelerator pedal from the rubber plunger.
