Note:  Drain the excess power steering fluid into a suitable drain pan.

Note:  The power steering pressure and return lines are of different diameters and the O-rings are not interchangeable.

If the O-rings are damaged or deteriorated, install new O-rings.

Note:  Cap the power steering lines to prevent the entry of contaminants and debris.

8. Disconnect the power steering pressure and return lines. 

1. Remove the bolt.
2. Disconnect the power steering pressure and return lines.

9. Lower the vehicle on the hoist.

10. Remove the steering shaft.

11. Remove the steering shaft boot.

1. Remove the nuts. 
2. Remove the steering shaft boot.
