6. Compress the rear parking brake cable conduit locking tabs and pull the cable assembly through the brake backing plate.

7. Release the rear parking brake cable end from the parking brake actuator lever and compress the cable conduit locking tabs.

During installation, make sure parking brake cable is seated correctly as shown.

8. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
