Camshaft Position Sensor: Service and Repair
CAMSHAFT POSITION (CMP) SENSOR - 3.0L REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
1. Disconnect the camshaft position sensor (CMP) sensor electrical connector.
2. Remove the bolt and the CMP.

To install, tighten to
10 N.m {1.0 kgf.m, 89 in.lbf}.

Inspect the O-ring seal and install new as necessary.
3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
NOTE: Lubricate the CMP O-ring seal with clean engine oil.
