Pinpoint Test 2: An Individual Courtesy Lamp Is Inoperative

PINPOINT TEST 2: AN INDIVIDUAL COURTESY LAMP IS INOPERATIVE

Normal Operation

Circuit (GY/V) provides voltage to each demand lamp when activated. The demand lamps are grounded through circuit (B/GY). The battery saver
function of the smart junction box (SJB) deactivates the voltage to the demand lamps after time-out.

Possible Causes

Wiring, terminals or connectors

Lamp assembly

Diagnostic Procedure

CAUTION: Use the correct probe adapter(s) when making measurements. Failure to use the correct probe adapter(s) may damage the connector.
