Inspect ground # 5 located on the driver side frame rail next to the transaxle and under the Battery Junction Box (BJB). Remove the # 5 ground
fastener and examine the trademark located on the head of the ground fastener.

If the fastener displays an arrowhead trademark located above the 8.8 property class stamp, replace the ground # 5 fastener with a new fastener
and torque the new fastener to 15 lb-ft (20 Nm).

If the fastener has the wave line trademark under the 8.8 property class stamp, remove any excess paint or debris from the fastener threads with
a nylon or wire brush. Reinstall the ground # 5 fastener and torque the fastener to 15 lb-ft (20 Nm).

Verify repair.
