DESCRIPTION
Some 2008 Tribute Hybrid vehicles may exhibit an MIL on with a DTC U2062 in the brake system control module, part of the Hydraulic Control Unit
(HCU).

U2062 - ECU REDUNDANT GROUND CIRCUIT OPEN
Customers having this concern should have their vehicle repaired using the following repair procedure.
REPAIR PROCEDURE

If any additional DTCs are set, diagnose and repair those DTC's first. If DTC U2062 is set alone or is set after diagnosing and repairing
other DTC's, perform the following repair procedure.
1.
Verify customer concern.
2.
Record customers radio station presets.
3.
Disconnect the negative battery cable for the 12v battery located in the engine compartment.
4.
Locate grounds G8 and G9 (A) for the ABS controller. Refer to WIRING DIAGRAM - 01G-1 - GROUND POINT for Tribute Hybrid located on
MS3. The grounds are located on the right hand side frame rail under the hydraulic control unit (HCU).
