8. Install the steering wheel. See See: Steering and Suspension/Steering/Steering Wheel/Service and Repair.
CAUTION: To prevent damage to the clockspring make sure the road wheels are in the straight-ahead position.
NOTE: The clockspring inner rotor, wiring and connector must be in the 12 o'clock position to install the steering wheel.
9. If a new clockspring was installed, remove the anti-rotation key.
10. Install the driver air bag module. See See: Air Bag/Service and Repair/Driver Air Bag Module Removal/Installation.
11. Repower the system. See See: Air Bag(s) Arming and Disarming/Service and Repair/Supplemental Restraint System (SRS) Depowering And
Repowering.
