1. Remove the safety belt anchor bolt and position aside the safety belt.

To install, tighten to 48 Nm {4.8 kgf-m, 35 ft-lbf}.
2. Remove the safety belt retractor pretensioner bolt.

To install, tighten to 48 Nm {4.8 kgf-m, 35 ft-lbf}.
3. Disconnect the safety belt retractor pretensioner electrical connector.
4. Unhook and remove the safety belt retractor pretensioner.

To install, tighten to 48 Nm {4.8 kgf-m, 35 ft-lbf}.
5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
6. Repower the supplemental restraint system (SRS). See See: Air Bag(s) Arming and Disarming/Service and Repair/Supplemental Restraint System

7. Check the active restraint system for correct operation. See - See: Description and Operation.
