Auxiliary Power Outlet: Description and Operation

ACCESSORY OUTLET

A 110 volt AC electrical power outlet is located on the shift console. A separate DC/AC inverter is located under the frond of the center console to
power the outlet. The 110 volt accessory outlet is protected by Fuse 14 (30 amps) in the power distribution box.

The 110 volt outlet cannot be used to power any devices that draw over 150 watts.

Remove all plugs from the outlet when the vehicle is not being driven.

A steady green light at key on means the outlet is powered.

A flashing green light indicates an inverter fault or the device in use exceeds 150 watts.
Do not use the following components in this outlet:

Cathode ray tube televisions

Motor loads: vacuum cleaners, saws, electric power tools, or compressors

Measuring devices which process data such as medical equipment or measuring equipment

Appliances that consume high stable power supplies such as microcomputer controlled devices, i.e. touch sensor lamps, electric blankets
