Wheel Bearing Removal/Installation

WHEEL BEARING REMOVAL/INSTALLATION - HYBRID

Removal

NOTE: LH shown, RH similar.

All wheel drive (AWD) vehicles

1. Remove the wheel knuckle. See -- See: Suspension/Rear Knuckle/Service and Repair.

Front wheel drive (FWD) vehicles

1. Remove and discard the wheel hub nut.

2. Remove the anti-lock brake system (ABS) wheel speed sensor ring.

All vehicles

1. Using the special tools, remove the wheel hub.

2. Using the special tool, press the inner wheel bearing race from the wheel hub.
